Jira Advanced Roadmap - parent child relationship

Hi

When selecting a parent issue in Jira advanced roadmap, is it possible to make an issue that is a level above, the parent?

I would like to make the tribe key result a parent of the  Epic without changing the hierarchy.

Thank you!Screenshot 2023-05-19 at 09.24.09.png

Hi @Zara Hughes

The issue hierarchy in Jira (and therefore Advanced Roadmaps) is very strict. You cannot "add/insert" an issue type above Epic without changing the hierarchy.

If you were to add issue type Key Result directly above Epic (level 2), then it would change the hierarchy for the current level 2 issue type, being Domain/Team Key Result.

Thanks very much Dave for coming back to me on this. I suspected that might be the case.
