A specific user is assigned to a test case.
When he tries to create an execution, he gets the error message "The logged in User is not the test case assignee". It will not create the execution.
Hi @Mary Orloff and welcome! This is most likely that the "Restrict test execution to assignee" option is enabled (Admin > Manage Apps > Xray Settings > Misc). If that's not the issue, have a look here: No+permissions+to+execute+Test+Executions HTH
Hi @Mary Orloff
Welcome to the community
Most likely the issue is the following:
The User does not have the necessary issue permissions on the project: "Browse" and "Resolve"

Hi Marc,
Thank you for the quick response.
I don't see an option for Browse or Resolve in my list of roles. How can I assign these to a user?

Hi @Mary Orloff
These 2 are permissions in the permission scheme.
Which roles, groups or users in your company are set to the permissions mentioned above.
And Xray also offers specific permissions in the permission scheme.
Permission scheme adjustments can only be made by Jira admins
You can also quickly check a users permissions via the permission helper.
