Request access from your administrator. when I click on Jira assistant, settings, jira profile

I think Jira assistant is an addon correct? In any event I think the error is clear. You do not have the necessary permissions to configure. Are you a site admin?

TBH, I am unsure as I do not use. I see that JAssistant is a browser extension. I am assuming that a site admin must make the connection but unsure why given it is a browser extension. I would simply ask the admin if they can install the extension successfully and then reattempt.
