It's possible to change gadget text colour from White to black....

Natively, not that I'm aware

But you can change the gadget colour options if you'd like to darker colours so the text is readable

To change gadget colours you'll need to be a Jira Admin and then:

  1. Go to Jira Administration > System > Look and Feel (on the left-hand menu)
  2. Scroll down to Gadget Colours
  3. Modify colours as needed

The login page displayed here is using "Colour 1" - the default colour for gadgets. Change this colour to a darker colour to make the text readable at login.

If you're really dedicated however, you can modify the gadget header text colour using css styles.
