Is thery a way to convert HTML text with formatting into JIRA ADF using python or Rest API?

We have value for description field from front end in html text formatting with bold , italics and other formatting.

We want to convert it into adf language and then send to jira api to add description in desired formatting.

Is there a way to do this in python or using Rest API

You have to create the logic of what the conversion script would do. It would be good to start off with ADF's different formatting standards and work your way from there.
