Is there a way to log/track time on a next-gen project?

Our company tracks time spent on work items using time tracking.  Is there a way to enable this for a next-gen project?  I can see custom fields for time and number but I don't think they are designed for logging time.

Not yet but I understand it is on the roadmap.

Am I supposed to see it on the roadmap?

@Amy_Washburn, it appears to me that they have reformatted the roadmap so unclear where it falls at this point TBH.

There is an issue that can be voted and watched: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17447

Also, third-party apps can provide time tracking features to Next-Gen projects.

Clockwork Automated Timesheets is one of them. It is a free app.
