Is there a way to have specific people receive an alert when a new issue is added to Kanban board?

We have a Kanban board we use for Change Management. When an change is created it goes into first column for review by a manager.  It there a way to notify each manager for when something is added into that column pertaining to their area of responsibility?

Hi @Patricia DeLuca

You could have an automation to send email https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-automation-actions/#Send-email  to the managers based on certain criteria identified in the ticket.

Hi, @Patricia DeLuca

If I understand you correctly, you need to add reminders to the tickets that you are creating and notify multiple people. In this case, you can use an add-on such as Boomerang: Reminders for Jira Issues.

To create a reminder, you can place a reminder in the issue and specify the message, date and time, and recipients. You can set a daily, weekly, or monthly recurring reminder and stop repeated notifications. You can also set a condition by specifying the status or resolution.

Jira reminders can be managed in the add-on, and you can check their statuses. This way, you won't forget anything important even in busy situations.

Additionally, you can integrate recurring Slack reminders with Jira.
Hope this will help!
