Hello,

Is there a way to add a gadget in the dashboard where I can query the issue types based on 'Assignee was'.
I was to see the team-mates to whom the defects were assigned to.

Currently I am able to query the issues using issue type and assignee was- but is there a way I can have a view on the dashboard based on 'Assignee was' ?

Appreciate any help!

Welcome to the community, @Abil.

I am Marlene, product manager of Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.

With our Jira cloud app you can filter gadgets on your dashboard dynamically. For your use case you could add a button or dropdown to filter for 'assignee was'.

The example shows the Quick Filters Results gadget, but we offer 14 other Quick Gadgets which can interact with the Quick Controller gadget.

You can test our app without installation on our demo dashboards.

I'm not aware of a way to do this out of the box, but the Custom Charts for Jira plugin, which I highly recommend (even though I have no affiliation) will allow you to create JQL-based groupings inside of a gadget.
