Hello @Nelson Tanabe ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

So, yes, a sandbox can be on a trial basis for 30 days.  Here's how that happens:

1. You sign up for a premium trial (Jira or Confluence).  A premium trial period is 30 days.

2. With that Premium trial, you create a sandbox.

3. At the end of 30 days, the product will revert to the Free plan.  When that happens, the sandbox is deleted.

Hello @Nelson Tanabe Welcome to the community.

This is what I found from the Atlassian website:-

There are different sandbox creation options when you have different Jira product plans.

If you have any Jira product on Premium or Enterprise plan with another Jira product that is on Free or Standard plan (excluding Jira Product Discovery, as we current don’t support this product in Sandbox), then you get a free sandbox for the Jira product on free or standard plan.

Example: As a user with a Jira Software Enterprise plan, you have access to a Jira Software sandbox. If you choose to add another Jira product such as Jira Work Management on a free plan, we give Jira Work Management sandbox for free since you already have a Jira product under the Enterprise plan.

If you are under any of the above mentioned plan than you can use the sandbox for free because the pricing is only for premium and enterprise plan. Sandbox is a feature provided for Premium or Enterprise plan
