I got a great email from Jira encouraging me to enable the new Deployments feature. It looks interesting & I'd like to try it out, but when I look at documentation, setting up Jira and Pipelines only mentions Bitbucket, not Github. Is Github supported for the JIra Deployments feature?
+1, would be nice to see GitHub integration
Hi @Lewis_ Lauren,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
The integration is referring to Git Pipelines, so it is only working if you have Bitbucket. I know that they are working on making the Code page to work for Github so hopefully the plans are the same for Developments.

Thanks @Mikael Sandberg for the warm welcome! I appreciate that info, I'll definitely keep an eye out & hope they'll support Github for that feature. (fingers crossed!)

Yes Github deployments are supported via the Github for Jira app https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219592/github-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

@Mikael Sandberg checking in one year later - any plans to integrate Github Deployments with Jira Deployments?

Hi @Alden Quimby,
I do not work for Atlassian, so have no insights on where they are at with the Github integration. I would post your question in this thread, it looks like Atlassian was talking to Github about it.
