Is it possible to validate an Insight object attribute for uniqueness accross multiple Object Types?

Hi all,

I tried to find the answer in the community but it seems this has not been asked until now.

We do have several object types in our Insight and many of them might have an attribute, which needs to be unique accross all of those.

I would like to prevent duplicates from being created, but I did not see any way of creating a script validator on Insight object creation (similar to ScriptRunner behavior for Jira issues).

Is there any way to implement such a validator for Insight object creation as well?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Stephan,

If your uniqueness is on a specific field, there is a unique property in Insight. The value for that field will be unique for this asset. It's only a check mark in the attribute property. I did not find a way to do it for more than one field.
