Hello,

I have an custom field customfield_16004 and I would like to set the value of this field to be same as assignee. Can you let me know how this could be done using Groovy script.

Copy field values to custom fields and vice versa

Also, you don't need to use Groovy to achieve this functionality. You can use the inbuilt post function Copy Value From Other Field to perform this same behavior as you can check in the documentation below:
