Dear All,
I am planning to move to a JIRA Data Center deployment. So far, I have been using a bespoke plugin to handle the authentication but now I want to move to the built-in SSO integration provided by Atlassian. I can set it up without any issues but I have been wondering how I can make sure that the JIRA users are deleted/deactivated when there is no existing entry for them in the Identity Provider. As far as I know, JIRA doesn't support SCIM out of the box (at least not in the Data Center deployment) so I would either need to develop something on my own or use something else. Did anyone already try to solve a similar issue?
Hello there,
I see that you want the SCIM and de-provisioning functionality for Data Center versions of JIRA.
I suggest you to use third-party Add-Ons available on the Atlassian Marketplace. I suggest you use the JIRA SCIM/User Provisioning Add-On by miniOrange.
It supports SCIM and de-provisioning functionalities in the Jira Data Center App.
As a Top Vendor on the Atlassian Marketplace, we are confident that the miniOrange SCIM/User Provisioning Add-on will meet your needs.
We offer every Atlassian customer free support and meetings during your evaluation to explore your requirements and help you set everything up.
Feel free to reach out to us at atlassiansupport@xecurify.com to take this conversation forward.
Thanks,
Aditya Kekre
P.S- I work for miniOrange, one of the top SSO vendors on the Atlassian Marketplace
