How can I divide the work in Jira

I have a project made up of developers

Iphone
Android
Merchant Control Panel
super admin control panel
web store
design

 

how can I

Also, I want to test the new features

Hi @new bepe 

Regarding your questions:

  1. Categorizing work by feature: To help categorize work you could use component, labels, information in a custom field, or epics to contain the work items.
  2. Designer tasks: One reason I suggested team discussion is your answer depends upon how you work.  If design work happens independently and on a different timeframe than delivery work, perhaps those are just separate tasks.  When such work is part of your normal flow, it could be just another task on the the team's board.
  3. Managing testing work: Again, how do you work today?  You seem to be using scrum, and if so the work done during the sprint is normally tested during the sprint.  All tasks leading to meeting the sprint goal are on the board.  If instead you are using something like Kanban, different work steps are normally columns (statuses) on the board; testing could be one of those.
  4. I do not understand your fourth question.  Jira supports epics > user story > sub-task.  Typically larger work items use Epics in Jira, with smaller items underneath to manage the work.

One approach is to "take it to the team":

  • sit down with your team and discuss how you work together (steps), and how you build/release work (pipeline);
  • discuss what you want to see/measure that will help you;
  • try to set up Jira to match your team's steps and work-break down; and
  • regularly pause as a team and discuss what could be improved next

Well no problem but me and my team were working on Trello

And these are pictures of the board and how to divide it

Now I want to go to Jira
I don't know how to do the right division

The first question is:
How to add and add system parts (Control Panel - Web Store - Merchant Application - Store Application - Super Admin Panel)
Is it added in  components ? Or what ?

The second question is:
How are the tasks of the designer added? and where?

The third question is:
How are new features tested by Tester?
Is it all put in a sprint? Or what ?

The fourth question is:
Are all system features placed in the Alastori entry?
Or in Epic ?
