I'm one of 7 Jira Admins on our cloud Premium instance, but the only one who uses it day to day (the others are IT system admins). I am currently doing some tidying up which involves un-archiving and archiving a lot of projects. All the Jira Admins are getting spammed with notification emails, which I know they really don't want or need. Is it possible to turn off system level email notifications to all Jira (Product) Admins?
I know how to manage product notifications at a user level, but not at an admin level.
These are the emails I am referring to: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Email-notification-is-being-sent-to-another-user-when-a-project/qaq-p/1426562
Hi Danielle,
I completely understand your situation, however, if the users are getting a Jira-generated email that says "x project has been archived", these emails go to all users who are either "Trusted Users", or members of groups that have admin privileges.
Hope it helps and clarifies.
Regards,
Carlos
Hi Carlos,
Could you confirm what you mean by trusted users? Edit: I realise this has been discontinued, were trusted users moved to basic or admin permissions
Kind Regards,
Belinda
