Hi,
I have customer with many statuses and he asks for different colors.
I know the color can be only one of the 3 categories , todo, in progress and done. but this is not enough. I want to use my own colors and more than 3.
Any creative idea how to change status colors to be custom ?
thanks,
Gal
Hi @Gal Fatal ,
This is a common frustration as Jira doesn't allow you to change the color of "to do," "in progress," and/or "done" statuses.
You can search the Atlassian marketplace for options you can try.
One option I recommend is using Visor. It securely connects to your Jira data, and your customers can format projects they want based on the colors they choose.
So, if they want To-Do statuses to be fire engine red, that can be done. If they want "Done" statuses to be a calm green, that can be done, too. Here's a screenshot so you can see how it looks. You can even change the colors for assignees if you want.
You can also find Visor on the Atlassian marketplace too https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226209/visor-spreadsheet-gantt-chart-for-jira-with-excel-export?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Thank you @Michael Yaroshefsky - Visor for Jira , it gives me solution for the group of statuses but not for individual status.

New Status Colors PRO provides a pretty complete solution for this!
I am not using this actively, but tried it in the past.
