How to slide the Story on a Roadmap?

I have a roadmap with sprint in progress. I have added a new story in the roadmap. However, I am unable to update the start and end length by sliding the story. The story is in current sprint. I moved it back to the backlog. However, I'm still unable to update its length on the roadmap.

Hi @Peuconomia Admin the Roadmap on Jira cloud doesn't allow editing the start and end dates of 'child issues' like you can do in Advanced Roadmaps in Data Center. You can only adjust the dates by assigning issues to a Sprint.

The configuration of your Roadmap (in your Board settings) describes this in the settings:

Child level issue scheduling

With this feature enabled, timeline bars for child level issues will be visible on your timeline using the the dates of the sprint to which they're assigned. You can move these bars to reschedule issues within your project.
