How to show linked issues status on dashboard? or any gadget?

Hi Team,

I have a 'Roadmap Item' Issue type and 'Epics' have been linked to the 'Roadmap Item' using the relationship called 'Related To Roadmap Item' and I would like to show the linked issue i.e. Epic's status on gadget the 'Two Dimensional Filter Statistic'. How that is possible?

It showing the main query status on the gadget.

Hello Tejas,

Unfortunately, Linked issue statuses are not retrieved by the JQL query, so it is not possible to display it in the gadget if the query is returning the "Road Map Items".

That been said, I can recommend the following options:

1 - Return the Epic issues directly in the JQL query you are using for your Gadget

2 - Add a field in the "Road Map Items" to capture the status of Epic issues, using an app (like Automation for JIRA) to automatically update the fields with the linked issue statuses.

Hi @Petter Gonçalves I understand, Jira has limitation.

2 option you mentioned above,

User may link more than one Epic's links to the 'Roadmap Item', how can we capture the status of the Epic's now if it is more than one links?
