Dear community,
I want to migrate my team-managed projects to company-managed projects in Jira Software (Cloud). I created a back up in case something goes wrong.
If it does and I want to restore that back up, how can I do that?
Thank you in advance.
Hi @Daniela Rodas , here is an article on importing a backup. Export data from Jira Cloud. That article covers a number of topics however, if you look to the section labeled - Import data into Jira cloud that will hit on two key topics: splitting your backup into two parts and finally importing.
Thank you for your answer, Jack.
I've been following the steps and I cannot find where I can restore it. The instructions show this:
But my Jira shows this:

Look under Backup manager for the import function. Please not restoring from backup should not be done on a live instance as a test. It should be used as a last resort when really needed. If you want to test it the restore to a separate test/sandbox instance.

We are building a feature in our Revyz Data Manager for Jira App that will allow you to migrate Team Managed projects to Company Managed projects in a simpler manner, if you are open to providing feedback on what we have built, please book some time on my calendar.
Thank you
Vish
