How to make logger for changing time period or schedule time?

hi 
im looking for way to make time logger when changing the time period (ex. start date or end date) in issue board or comment section by adding each time.

im trying to use  by adding automation rules with smart values. but quite confuse and hard to find the way. 

is there already any options or function to do it?
or do i make by myself and how?

Hi @june ,

You may try to use Required field validation in the project workflow as part of any status transition. Moreover, you may add a screen with time logging field and comments, so it will just pop up for when the user is trying to move between the statuses.
