How to make a field required ?

I am trying to make a locked system field "Team" is required/mandatory in script runner behaviors cloud platform, but it is showing locked.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

What are you trying to accomplish?

As per the documentation, The ScriptRunner Behaviours functionality in Jira Cloud can affect only the Create Issue screen.

Behaviours Supported Fields

Behaviours can be applied to supported fields on the Global Issue Create view only. Additionally, modifications may only be made on the following supported fields:

This will not make the field required all the time.

If you want to make the field required during the Create Issue process, you can add the Field Required Validator to the Create Issue transition in the workflow.

Are you using behaviors? Or a workflow validator? I don't see where you would see a "locked" display using behaviors. Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?
