How to hide/remove system field from advanced roadmap

We are using the "Team" system field for all issue types except Epic and Initiative (Initiative is above Epic in our hierarchy), Epic and Initiative screens do not contain these fields. Because it is a system field, we are unable to add context to it.

However, in the Advanced Roadmaps, users are still able to select those fields which is causing us some issues.

We were wondering if there is a way to hide this field or remove it or just block users from selecting it in the Advanced Roadmap for Epics and Initiatives.

Hi Danilo,

Currently, It is not possible to disable fields in the plan view, even if they are restricted to a specific issue type. However, We do have a feature request to add this functionality which can be found in the link below:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-23631

You can watch and vote for this feature request to be notified when the feature request has been implemented.

Thanks,

Hala

Thank you for the reply.

Hi @Danilo Simic I'm afraid that due to the limitation of the tool/technology, this is about communication to the people about the process to follow.
