How to have Project Settings access in a team-managed project?

Eileen Aday September 21, 2022

My admin created a team managed project, assigned me as Project Lead. Previously i can still access the Project Settings but now it was gone. What may have happened and what can we do to revert it?

Hi Eileen - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If there is no link for the Project Settings, then you have been removed as a Project Administrator for the project. Please have your Admin review and add you back if necessary.

Hello @Eileen Aday

Welcome to the community.

Project Lead does not grant you any permissions in the Team Managed project. You have to be granted permissions based on being assigned to Role in the project. To have access to the Project Settings for a Team Managed project you must be assigned to the Administrator role in that project.

Thank you. Giving administrator role solved the concern.
