Jira provides reports at the Sprint level and Project level. But there is no filter to view all these reports at User level. For e.g. If I want to see Burndown and Velocity chart of a user.
Hi @Ronak Koya
These reports doesn’t exist for a user.
When you are working with the Scrum framework, you usually measure Velocity and Burndown for the Scrum team not for individuals.
What kind of information do you want to reports at user level ?
Have a good day
Hi Fabrice, Thanks for the response. I am looking to get following reports at individual user level. Can I create such reports from Jira? or any addon apps?
1.Issue Statistics Report: This report provides an overview of the number of issues that have been assigned to each developer, as well as the status of those issues. This report can help evaluate a developer's workload and identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
2.Time Tracking Report: The Time Tracking Report provides a summary of the amount of time that each developer has spent on each issue. This report can help evaluate a developer's productivity and efficiency.
3.Activity Stream: The Activity Stream provides a real-time stream of activity on all issues in a project, including comments, status updates, and other actions taken by developers. This report can help evaluate a developer's communication and collaboration skills.
4.Sprint Report: The Sprint Report provides a summary of the progress made by each developer during a sprint, including the number of issues completed and the amount of work remaining. This report can help evaluate a developer's performance within the context of a sprint.
5.Velocity Chart: The Velocity Chart provides a graphical representation of the amount of work completed by each developer in each sprint. This report can help evaluate a developer's productivity over time.

Again, velocity is not a measure for individuals, it is a measure of the team progress. So no, you can't get a velocity by user. (It's pointless anyway, it wouldn't tell you anything useful)

Hi Nic, Thanks for response.
Do Jira provide anything to be tracked based on user wise? Is there an setting from Jira admin for projects where we can control this? I understand that user can be changed for a ticket and so it becomes difficult for tracking. I was hoping if there was anything to track user wise work.

Hi @Ronak Koya and welcome,
for Burdown and Velocity reports, they are sprint specific and they cannot be associated to a specific user. For scrum, issue in backlog are associated to the whole team and not to a specific user so you can't have a burdown perspective per user basis. Moreover, a ticket could be worked by different users so the original estimation can't be splitted to different users.
Hope this clarifies,
Fabio

Hi Fabio,
I understand current Jira reports works on Sprint level but does it provide any reports on user level. Anything at all, or maybe customizing any settings from Jira admin could help.
