How to get email alert on any updates to worklog past months

Hi,

   Every month 5th we pull time (work log) from Jira and processed by finance dept. I observed that some users are updating work log/entering for previous months (after 5th of current month). If we pull previous work log data for auditing purpose.. it is not matching with what we pulled on 5th of every month.

   We are looking for at least getting mail alert - if someone update work-log for previous months after 5th of current month 

Help appreciated.

   We use Jira cloud  and plugin "Time Reports for Jira Cloud"

Full disclosure: I have never used that product, so I added a tag to your question so hopefully someone from the vendor will see your question.

Until then, consider emailing their support directly to ask if they already have a pre-built report to detect this condition.  I could not determine that from the information on the marketplace site.

Next, if the fields for the time tracking (and the entry date/time) are available as smart values, you might want to try building an automation rule to check for updates that meet your criteria.
