Actual outcome:
Still get the same error.
Conclusion:
Jira's documentation sucks and/or is inaccurate and incomplete.
HELP pleas?
This is on the ISSUE TYPES, right?
Their documentation makes no sense and doesn't work. Help?
How do you get labels on the cards??
Bad documentation is so frustrating.
If you are asking about How to add Labels Field in a ticket, then we add it from the Issue Layout section not the Issue Types Section.
In Issue Types we see the fields that are there in a projects as default. Than you can select what fields you want to display. This includes Labels as well.
Than after you have set this configuration, we add our desired tags in the Labels section.
But if you are looking for some set of predefined labels, you should introduce a custom field called Categories. You can set the list of labels which user can choose in their jira ticket.
Thanks, where is the Issue Layout section? Can you send me a screenshot? I don't see anything like that.

I want the label to go here. It was there for a second then disappeared when i got the error message. Frustrating.
I caught it in a screenshot very quickly before it disappeared.
I would actually like both the label and the due date to be shown on the card. How can this be done? The documentation is a recursive maze.
