I am trying to figure out how to format text and insert tables into the content portion of an automatic email that is sent when triggered through automation? Text Formatting Notation doesn't work here since it gets inserted as written, so how do I do this?
I had forgotten that I had this question a while back.
I have since found that it requires the use of .html in order to do what I wanted. I have been able to insert tables by using .html (and sending the email as html), and I've been able to utilize the smart values in those emails as well.
