How to extend progress bar of roadmap to current date

I have roadmap set in my JIRA project.
There are few task which do not have due date and work is in progress.
For these tasks, roadmap progress bar is not extended till current date. 
what can be the possible cause?

What are the dates for the progress bar on these tasks?

Do you have a Start Date entered for the issues?

Do you have Child-level Scheduling enabled for the Roadmap?
