I want to show a hierarchy of tasks with an "is contained in" relationship between them. The screenshot below is a screenshot of how I manually grouped the tasks after they were created. I want to create a task, attach "is contained in" to it, and have it automatically appear as [Hierarchy] in BigGantt.
The Configuration -> Gantt -> Column Views menu said there was a Hierarchy feature, so I looked for it, but couldn't find it. I need help.

I think what you are looking for can be found in the tab Tasks/Task Structure.
There you can activate (with the blue toggle) a link based task hierarchy.

In my case, I enabled 'Hierarchy link(WBSGantt)' in the path you mentioned and it worked. Thank you :)
