Hi,
We are tracking our sprints velocity after each sprint (via Jira & easyBI)
So we have sprints 1,2,3,4,5 (we have other convention) - and sprint 3 was just ended few days ago and sprint 4 was started - but we saw that mistakenly some team member removed the sprint 3 from all stories and place sprint 4 instead but eventfully closed that before sprint 4 started (meaning while sprint 3)
Now - its seems that they didnt completed nothing on Sprint 3 (and i am not sure if it will be counted on sprint 4 when it will be ended..)
i also cant add sprint 3 to the sprints as it was closed already - and i can select only current / future sprints.
Any advice how to fix that?
Thanks!!
Hi @Shmuel 👋
I suggest that you reopen Sprint 3 and make the necessary corrections to the Sprint contents.
How to reopen sprint → https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/reopen-a-sprint/
Also, with my SaaSJet team, we built a new Sprint Performance Report where we have all the metrics for each sprint. One of them is Team Velocity.
I would be happy if you had a look at it!

You can also book a live demo - we'll show you the application inside out and answer all your questions.
Have a nice day and happy sprinting 🥳
Thanks. i will keep the option to for the live Demo (looking good)
But if i will reopen the Sprint - i will have 2 active sprints? what will be the affect of Sprint 4 that already "alive"?
