How to configure the backlog view in JIRA 7?

Hello!

So, I have created an Epic and a scrum board and I now want to configure the backlog view. By default the only columns in the backlog view are: issue type, ID, priority, title, epic, assignee. I also want to add submitter or additional meta data on the submitter.

you can add upto 3 extra fields in either backlog or active sprint view. 

 

you should be a board administrator or a jira admin to do this.

 

go to board settings of your project.then click on card layout and then from there 

you can configure the backlog card layout chrome_2018-12-20_15-42-38.png
