I am trying to build a consolidated team velocity report across multiple teams/projects, something like

Team/Project      Sprint Name   Commitment    Completed
Project 1             Sprint 1           40                     35

Project 1             Sprint 2           40                     33

Project 2             Sprint 1           50                     45

Project 2             Sprint 2           50                     40

Project 3             Sprint 1           50                     35

Project 3             Sprint 2           50                     40

Has anyone built something like this? How can I do this?

Hi @Raj,

This should be possible. Create a new Scrum board that includes all the projects that you want to track. This new board should now display all the sprints.

Go to the Velocity report of the new board and you will see the sprints of all the teams/projects.

Unfortunately, the Jira's report is limited and displays only a few past sprints. But, if you want to display more past sprints, you could try the Team Velocity gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app. Just configure the gadget to display the velocity for the newly created Scrum board.

The gadget displays also a nice report on its Data tab, which you can easily export in CSV.

Please note that this app offers many other gadgets that you will find useful. See also the articles from our blog.

I hope this helps.

Danut.
