Advanced Roadmaps gives the option to bulk update singular fields such as Assignee, Dates, Estimate, etc. right from the plan. There is no limit to the number of tickets that may be updated in this way.

Advanced Roadmaps also gives the "Bulk Change in Jira" option. This option however has a limit of 100 tickets. Is there a way to increase or bypass this limit? If not, is there a way to get a query for the selected tickets that I can then put into search and bulk update those tickets from that page?

Hi @Shirley He ,

I don't think you can change this limit of 100 tickets in roadmaps so yes, you'll need to use the regular bulk update.

Maybe this can help you with contructing your JQL:

Hi @Shirley He

if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including support for bulk editing via copy/paste. This is how it looks in action:

You can update any number of fields and issues in one action - so you should be done with your work in no time. (I should add that JXL can do much more than that: From support for configurable issue hierarchies, to issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.)

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
