How do I integrate JIRA with ALM Octane?

My team is researching feasibility of setting up an integration between ALM Octane and Jira. From a JIRA perspective, how do I need to configure the tool to set up this integration? Does it require a 3rd party add-on from the Atlassian Marketplace? 

Please advise on what actions should be taken to set up the integration between JIRA and ALM Octane.
