How do I increase quote indentation ?

I have been trying to increase a quote indentation with no luck.

{quote} This an indent test {quote}

Hmm {quote}, works for me (7.9.1 Server). Is the field a wiki style renderer (do other markdown functions, such as bold, work?)

Another way to create a block quote of one line is to put "bq." At the beginning of the line, e.g.

bq. This line should be indented.

It works for me the same way you have posted it. But I want to increase the indentation.
