How do I get a custom field to show in the options for selection for release notes?

I've created a field called 'Environment' with a multiselection dropdown. I'd like this field to show in the release notes but it's not showing as an option in the 'formatting options'. Is there a specific screen I need to associate the field with so it appears for selection in the 'formatting options'?

Hello Tony

Could you explain (may be with a screenshot) of the 'formatting options' section where you want it to be displayed?

Hi Fazila. Thank you so much for your response. I need my field for environment to show as a selectable field when clicking the highlighted button. You'll notice from the second screenshot that there is a field for 'Environment' (circled in red) but that is not the one I created. That was created by the admin before me. I need my field to show there and maybe a couple of othersjirabutton.PNGjirafield2.PNG

Ah got it.. Thanks!

Unfortunately that section supports only the text based fields :(

If you choose the confluence option, it is flexible to include other type fields available in the project..

Oh ok that makes sense! Thank you so much. Perfect I will try do release notes through confluence then and see how that goes. Thanks again!
