Hi Muhammad - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I think it is probably like most any thing you want to master - it takes lots of work and time. Being in the product everyday is certainly a good start. Then reading all the questions you can here in the Community and seeing the answers that solve those problems. Then maybe even trying to do some of those things that intrigue you in a test project, even if you don't have the same need right then.

Taking a course would help - but then you need to be able to immediately apply it somehow.

So, I am not sure that you can "quickly" become an expert at anything, let alone Jira. But work with it everyday and learn from other people how they are using it. See the questions being asked and how they are answered. That's the best I can tell you.

Thanks for the tips, John.

I have to agree with John here.  The best way to become proficient in Jira is to use it.  I would get a free cloud account, and start trying to organize a personal project within the Application.  Take a moment to deep dive and figure out the ins and outs, and figure out not only what the different features are, but how you might use them on a project of your choosing.

A few years ago, I did just this by using Jira to manage my job search while I was between jobs.  Figuring out what fields I needed, what the workflow should look like, and different ways to configure the board to make my life easier as a great way to keep in practice while I looked.

Thank you, Rodney. These are great tips.

Use it as an admin. Otherwise you never gonna understand how all the things are connected (workflows, fields, automations, screens, etc...).

But as Uncle Ben said: "With great power, comes great responsibility". So, try to have a clear overview on how your projects are connected and understand the impact of minors and big changes. You can mess everything with a simple click.
