How can we populate additional fields in JIRA Server v8.3.1 based on component selection?

Hi,

I want to populate different additional fields in JIRA based on selection of components. Each component will have different additional fields and it should come when I put in the component value.

You can either use Automation for Jira to set a rule or add a workflow post-function to 'Set Field Value' provided by one of workflow automation add-ons.
