We are evaluating the Jira & JSM cloud products, we would like to know, is this possible to configure the custom email (services@abcd.com) for the email requests and incoming handler ?

In JSM yes it's possible to configure custom email in the channel please refer to this link https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/add-an-email-account/.
JSM allows 3 options Google, Microsoft and Other option.
