How can i change the installation language of GreenHopper

John Simonson August 24, 2011

Hi - we are running JIRA 4.3.2, soon upgrading to 4.4, and have GreenHopper 5.6.2 installed. The colleague who installed GH set the language to German, and we would like to change it to English to match the rest of the installation. I have not yet found the means to affect this change.

Hi John,

GreenHopper will pick up the default language of the JIRA instance. Individual users can then change the language that they use via their user profile.

If you are seeing different behaviour you may have a modified version of GreenHopper. In this case I recommend reinstalling the current version or upgrading to a newer version - 5.6.8. Once you move to JIRA 4.4 you will be on 5.7.x or later.

Thank you John.
