thank you for your answer. I am testing several planning tools because our company needs a planning tool. But a 2 year limitation and a need to vote for such a basic feature (with no information when this will be available) leads to a negative result.

Unfortunately, the limit in roadmap is currently 2 years, like you pointed out. My understanding is that there were performance issues when the limit was higher than 2 years. There is an Atlassian ticket to allow to customize the timeline data range, I recommend you to vote for the feature.
