Hi,

We are in a phase where we need to do end to end testing (involve multiple applications) We already have modular tests (for different application) written and testing to those is in progress.

Now to do the end to end testing we need to finalize the approach and I have came up with some ideas but would like to know the experts recommendations, please see if someone can help based on their project experience.

I came up with:

1- Utilizing the modular application specific test cases. Create a new test issue type and use the call feature of X-ray and add existing modular test cases as a test steps.

2- Instead of creating the test cases , use the Test plan for end to end testing and add modular tests in sequence

3- Do not use modular tests rather create new tests and add multiple application in some of the custom field in test case to know which applications it covers.

Thanks,

Aruna
