We have a employee leave and a new PM come in.  As administrator I have been ask to delete her board as a new one has been set up.  I do not see a delete function.  Can only the person that set up the Board delete the board. Is there a way the Jira administrator can delete this?

For Jira Cloud, this worked for me as an admin:

  1. Go to Your Work > Boards > View all boards
  2. Click on the three dots to the right of the Board you want to delete
  3. Select DeleteDelete Board.png

Do you mean an agile board; a Scrum or Kanban board?

A Jira Administrator can delete the board by, clicking in the Quick Search field and clicking on the Boards button to get to the list of all boards.

Then find the board in the list and click the ... button to the far right of that entry. There should be a Delete option there.
