Has anyone used custom Slackbot responses to make users complete required Jira fields?

I know from this thread that there is not the Ability to set required field via Slack integration

While I know there are other third party apps that have this ability, has anyone ever used custom Slackbot responses as a way to get users to provide complete information? I have Jira Cloud on my Slack workspace, and I was thinking of trying this method to collection more information then using the "Add to Jira ticket" option available through Jira Cloud.
