HI @vishnu vardhan chenna

Please show an image of your complete automation rule, including images of relevant actions/branches/conditions, and of the audit log details showing the rule execution.  Those will provide context for the community to offer ideas.  Thanks!

Until we see those...

Have you included conditions / rule logic to stop processing when there are no issues to send in the email?

Kind regards,
Bill

Hi @Bill Sheboy

I have not included condition/rule logic to stop when there are no issues to sending the emails.

step1: when issue scheduled.

step2: then: create a variable

step3: And: lookup issues

step4: branch

          for each: smart value

          then:  lookup issues

           And: send email

You could then add an advanced compare condition after the lookup issues action, and only proceed if issues are found:

  • first value: {{lookupIssues.size|0}}
  • condition: greater than
  • second value: 0

Hi @Bill Sheboy Thanks for the solution.
