As defined in the API doc, it is possible to get the remaining estimate by doing a "get issue" (see https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/7.6.1/#api/2/issue-getIssue)
However, this remaining estimate is actually the sum of the remaining estimates (including the issue and its children).
Is there a way to get the remaining estimate of the querried ticket only?
I tried to execute this rest call and what i got was actually the remaining estimate of the issue and not including the subtask values. I cross verified it with multiple issues. Could you check from your end?

Hello Fazila,
Thank you for your feedback. I re-checked with different data and it does indeed the work as expected...
I will investigate what happened.
Thanks!
