In our JSM we have a workflow in which a ticket moves to Closed after it has been Resolved for 5-days. The gadget that displays created tickets vs resolved tickets is not showing our resolved since they are now in Closed status. Is it possible to change this gadget to look at created vs closed? Or do I have the ability to create my own gadget?
The gadget is based on the resolution field, not the status. So in order for the Created vs Resolved gadget to work correctly you have to make sure that the resolution is set when moving an issue to closed. You can either do that by having a screen associated with the transition to closed, or set the resolution as part of the post function.
