Hi,

I would like to create a custom filter showing all tickets that have a comment for me which I didn't read yet

I am not sure if you are referring to the notifications tab: https://start.atlassian.com/notifications

Or you are using a mail handler to operate Jira issue? 

I have not come across unread comment option in JQL yet

If you can share some more context of the unread and read the comment, I may try to help you.

using Jira portal. in the custom filter option, i want to have a filter to filter out all cards that have related unread notifications related to comments

 

Describing as a user...
i wanna see only the cards that have new comments mentioning my name
