Scenario:
Project A and Project B use the same screen/screen scheme for Task.
John Doe is Project Admin for both projects.
John Doe changed the field order in the new Issue View/Configure for Project A.
Project B did NOT reflect these changes, even though the screen is the same one in the Issue Type Screen Scheme for both projects.
Also, is there any way to PREVENT Project Admins from changing the layout? We have standards we're trying to adhere to.
In the new UI you have two things that control the issue layout, the screen(s) and the issue layout. Changing the issue layout in a project that is sharing the screen will not affect the other projects, but you could copy the layout to keep them the same across the board.
And no, you cannot prevent a project admin from changing the issue layout.
There is a request to have that possibility to set permissions for who can change the layout, JSWCLOUD-21540 that you can vote on and watch.
