Failing to receive notifications (except when I am a watcher)

I have created a notification scheme and assigned it to the project (see attached).

I do receive notifications when I am a watcher, however I do not receive notifications when I am part of a group, or as single user.

Any idea of what is missing in the set-up?

I'm using Jira cloud.

Hello,

Try to use the notification helper to check, if you are supposed to get notifications for a certain event for a certain issue or not.

You should go to System->Notification Helper.
